Custom Retail Platform 
for Grocery Delivery & Loyalty

We designed and developed a custom grocery retail platform for a premium food retailer. This was not a WordPress or template-based e-commerce website, but a custom-built retail system with warehouse software integration, delivery logic, online payments, a loyalty program, physical customer cards, and a connected mobile loyalty app.
The platform supports a multi-level catalog, several product types, address-based delivery options, bonus points, saved payment cards, customer accounts, order history, receipts, favorites, and blog content.

Business objective

The client needed more than a standard online store. The goal was to create a custom digital retail platform that could support real grocery operations: product availability, warehouse data, delivery zones, loyalty mechanics, customer profiles, bonus cards, and multiple product purchase models.

The platform had to make online grocery shopping convenient for customers while staying connected to the company’s internal retail infrastructure.

Our approach

We treated the project as a custom retail product, not as a simple e-commerce website. The main focus was on building a scalable architecture for catalog logic, delivery scenarios, loyalty mechanics, customer data, payment flows, and integration with the company’s warehouse software.

The design system was built around a premium grocery experience: clean navigation, strong product visuals, clear delivery options, fast catalog access, and a polished customer journey from address selection to checkout.

We also paid special attention to operational details that are often underestimated in grocery e-commerce: weighted products, delivery time slots, out-of-stock states, bonus points, saved addresses, favorites, receipts, order history, and customer account management.
